Swagbucks offers 11 easy ways to win rewards.

Many people are unaware of how much more Swagbucks has to do! It's important to know where you can spend your time. Our Swagbucks analysis shows the best ways to win.

Swagbucks is pretty much the epitome of 'fast cash.' Although it doesn't promise to make you rich, it's simple to earn points for everything from watching videos to filling out short surveys. All from the comfort of your own couch.

After you've built your free account, you can automatically begin collecting points that can be traded for cash or rewards.

Swagbucks is a platform that rewards users for performing basic online tasks such as browsing the internet, watching videos, and taking surveys.

Swagbucks points (abbreviated as 'SBs') will be credited to your account, which can then be exchanged for gift cards or cash. They have over 1,500 gift cards to choose from, including Amazon, iTunes, Currys PC World, and Tesco.

However, if you're looking for a way to make extra money with Swagbucks, you can turn points to cash in your PayPal account. If you're feeling charitable, you can even donate to charity.

How much can you earn?

To give you an idea of how much SB points are worth, a £5 Amazon gift card will set you back 849 SB, while £100 cash will set you back 17,999 SB (via PayPal).

But, since there are so many tasks and activities looped into Swagbucks – many of which you actually already do – they accumulate faster than you would expect.

Furthermore, Swagbucks also runs promotions on its rewards, requiring fewer SBs to redeem the vouchers. For example, at the time of writing, £100 of PayPal credit was available for only 14,500 SB, which was 20% off the normal price.

1.Make Swagbucks your default search engine

Switching your default search engine to Swagbucks is the simplest way to start earning (rather than Google or Bing).

You'll start earning points just for browsing the web normally, but using their browser instead (don't worry, it's run by Yahoo, so don't worry!).

For every 10 to 20 searches, you can expect to earn 10–20 SB points, but the final amount will be determined by the search queries. This can add up to around £300 after six months of daily searching.

2.Complete surveys and polls

Do you have a lot of free time but not a lot of money? Swagbucks can be a cool little earner if you fill out a few short surveys each day.

They normally take three to twenty minutes to complete, and depending on the survey, you can earn anywhere from 40 to 100 SB. There's also a regular survey to complete, which takes two seconds and earns you an additional SB.

3.Download apps and games to your phone

For downloading, installing, and opening those applications on your phone, tablet, or device, you can gain a wide range of points.

While you may be rewarded for simply downloading the app, you will almost always be required to take some form of action, such as achieving a certain level in a game or depositing money.

These opportunities are also available via one of Swagbucks' partners (Revu or Fyber), but you'll still be paying in Swagbucks – typically several hundred SBs or more, depending on the bid.

However, as always, we suggest starting with the free apps. It's pointless to pay to download or use an app in order to win Swagbucks because you'll almost certainly earn much less than you spend!

4.Shop online and earn cashback

Obviously, we wouldn't recommend shopping online solely for the purpose of earning more points (that wouldn't make sense, would it?). However, if you're going to make an online purchase, use the Swagbucks website to win some points (similar to mainstream cashback sites).

Online stores such as Argos, ASOS, Currys PC World, eBay, Just Eat, and Wilko offer simple SBs. So, before you hand over your cash, do a fast Google search to see if they're a Swagbucks earner.

If you're planning a vacation with Secret Escapes, for example, access the site via Swagbucks rather than directly and you'll win 5 SB for every £1 spent. Since vacations can be expensive, you might end up winning hundreds of points that you can redeem for prizes or cash later.

5.Tell your friends

By getting your friends to sign up for Swagbucks using your referral code, you can earn SB points while you sleep.

Not only will you and your friend both receive 300 SB when they sign up (you'll get yours if they earn at least an additional 300 SB within the first 30 days), but you'll also receive 10% of your friend's SB earnings for the duration of their membership!

This is a fantastic way to win points without having to do anything – and your friends will obviously gain as well. Plus, if the person you refer installs the SwagButton on their laptop or desktop, you'll get another 100 SB (using the special link available on your invite page).

6.Watch out for Swag Codes

To receive updates about 'Swag Codes' as soon as they become available, download the SwagButton browser extension (and get 50SB just for installing the extension!).

Swag Codes are essentially codewords or phrases that the organization uses to generate interest in the platform and encourage users to return to the homepage.

The browser extension's alerts will tell you where to look for the code – on the Swagbucks site, Twitter, or Facebook page – which you'll then type into the 'Swag Code' box in the left-hand sidebar. SB points are super easy to come by!

7.Complete daily goals

A 'to do list' of eight separate daily tasks that the site suggests you complete can be found on the left-hand side of the page.

You'll get bonus points for ticking off everything on your list in a single day, in addition to accumulating points for each task you complete (or a smaller bonus for completing at least six of the eight tasks).

Similarly, if you enable the Swagbucks 'daily goal' option (found in the header), the site will assign you a daily goal number of SBs to work toward. If you meet your target, they'll add some extra bonus points to your account!

But, once again, just spend real money on the 'Deal of the Day' if it's something you really like. The SBs you'll get in exchange aren't worth nearly as much as the money you'll give up!

8.Enter competitions

You will enter Swagbucks' daily limited-time giveaways (or 'Swagstakes') if you consider yourself fortunate when it comes to joining competitions.

Prizes range from tech toys, such as Apple items, to a larger package of SBs – but keep in mind that entering each competition is a bit of a gamble because you must pay SBs to enter.

For instance, you may enter a competition for a chance to win 50 SB, but it could cost you 2 SB to do so.

9.Play games online and on mobile

Your smartphone gaming addiction is about to pay off!

Swagbucks not only pays you to download and play games, but they also host a few of their own (you'll recognize them because they all include the word 'Swag'...).

You can receive up to 10 SB per game simply by trying it out. However, since some games require you to reach a certain level before you can gain SBs, it pays to be good at these things.

If you prefer general knowledge, check out Swagbucks Live, one of the few remaining live quiz apps that were once the rage (HQ Trivia, anyone?).

Participating in the game is completely free, and all you have to do is download the app. The aim of this live quiz app, like most others, is to correctly answer a few multiple-choice questions. If you make it to the end, you'll win a share of the overall bonus pool (up to $1,000 in Swagbucks), but if you make a mistake, you'll be disqualified.

Some of the questions can be ridiculously complicated, so we suggest referring your friends to the app. You'll get a free'rejoin' every time you get anyone to sign up, which will allow you to rejoin the game if you're knocked out.

10.Sign up to services

Signing up for free trials and subscribing to services such as TV and online gaming will earn you a lot of money.

However, as with cashback deals, you can only use this option if you wish to use the service in the first place. This is due to the fact that some of them need you to pay money to join.

However, if they're free (like a credit report or a streaming service trial), it may be worth your time because they usually pay out a good amount of points!

11.Watch videos

Yes, just watching a few videos will win you Swagbucks points.

It's worth noting that Swagbucks Watch is no longer as widely available as it once was. It won't be open to most users on most days, but since it's still an option, we thought it was worth noting.

And, although the pay isn't particularly high, you're being paid to be amused! You'll be sent a wide range of material to browse, including everything from advertisements to news articles and viral videos.

So take advantage of this opportunity to sign up for Swagbucks and start earning SBs right away. It's completely free to enter, so you have nothing to lose, and there are plenty of prizes to be won.

Just be careful not to let the sight of high SB points tempt you into spending money you wouldn't normally spend – otherwise, it'll be a waste of money!
